I'thousand totally guilty of non designing a HUGE political party for my 2 yr old'southward altogether party this year. Just… in all fairness, my oldest didn't get a large shindig for his second either.

But every bit a political party planner at heart, I couldn't become without a little fleck of a celebration, and decided to style an easy nacho bar since food confined are my favorite!

We invited a few of our closest friends over on a Fri nighttime, with a Facebook invite saying,

It'southward Nacho Birthday, information technology's his!

Nosotros so told them to programme on coming over to our business firm afterwards school & work that Friday evening, for a nacho bar & some brew. (Juice boxes for the kiddos.)

Nacho Bar for a Crowd:

Anybody LOVED the nacho bar idea! They were able to brand their own… just the way they wanted it, and it was the perfect fashion to vedge out, on a Friday evening.

The idea started, when I saw a sign out forepart of the party rental store in my dwelling house town that said,

"NOW Conveying A NACHO CHEESE MACHINE."

I just almost rear-ended someone, because of my excitement. I literally planned this party days subsequently. 😉

How to Make a Nacho Bar

I literally bought well-nigh everything already pre-fabricated and pre-cutting. It was by option to make the guacamole and pico de gallo. But a nacho bar is PERFECT for a final minute party thought because information technology was literally all ready in no time.

My guacamole recipe is a HUGE hit on Pinterest, and my meridian almost-visited recipe post every year if you desire to snag it also:

A nacho bar isn't complete without salsa, sour cream and light-green onions.

(I had this wooden "plank," left over from my son'due south Nautical Birthday party," and I thought information technology would piece of work perfectly to add a petty boost or height to the table.)

Shredded lettuce, black olives & Pico de Gallo…

refried beans, fajita chicken, & jalapeños…

oh…. and guac. Guacamole. My weakness.

Mmmmm, & Chili. I do beloved a mean chili-cheese-nacho.

Then finally, the chips! (ii Different types. Corn & Flour Tortilla Fries.)

I institute the cutest "boats," & wooden utensils on Shop Sweet Lulu for the nacho'south, and they worked perfectly! No dishes to wash! (Well… besides the platters and small bowls on the table.)

The best part? People were coming and going all night, and they were able to snack every bit they pleased. This will definitely exist happening in our house over again.

If you're able to rent a cheese automobile, exercise information technology! The kids (AND ADULTS) loved the heck out of that affair. I'll acknowledge… I had "cheese," with EVERYTHING the unabridged weekend, that I had this glorious invention, rented.

Birthday Cake for the Large Boy

For my parties, I usually rent out for the cake, cake pops, or cupcakes. But this year, since a big "to-practise," wasn't taking identify, (and only our closest friends would "see," the block), I thought I'd requite it a whirl.

Now… I can make a cake. That's not the problem. It'south the DECORATING the block.

  There's a block on Pinterest, that had itty fragmentary balloons sticking out of it, and I thought… I tin do that! I but grabbed wooden skewers, small balloons, and super glued them to the skewers, and stuck 'em in. It worked, right?!

Party Favors

I couldn't ship our guests out the door empty-handed. While my normal "stroll," through the Target dollar bin, I came across playing cards & play dough, and thought they'd be the perfect little items to throw into goodie bags and to go along the kiddos busy on the car ride habitation.

I placed a rolling cart that I have from Earth Market place, by the front door, and blimp the goody bags in it… with a sign that said, "Take ane." It worked out perfectly, and in that location wasn't One favor left, by the terminate of the night.

So there it is! It was my "It's Nacho Altogether, Information technology'south His," nacho bar party!

P.S. My piddling guy LOVED his cake… & the nachos. He's a "cruncher," like his momma and loves annihilation salty and sweet. Ok, ok… he'southward like his momma because he'll eat annihilation.
